Description
Hewland FT200 Gearbox. This is an early pattern gearbox with two mounting bosses under the diff case (the alter cases have four mounting bosses), and three leg output spiders to accept rubber do-nuts. Ideal for early 70’s F2 or 2 litre sportscar. Castings: Good; Crown Wheel & Pinion: Good Differential cam tracks & pawls: Useable; Dog rings & gear dogs: Useable; Complete with clutch release fork and Ford adaptor plate. Parts needed for re-build: New bearings plus seals, Re-set pinion depth, Re-set crown wheel back-lash and pre-load, Re-set selector fors, Di-chromatic magnesium castings.
