Description
Two Datsun FS5C71A ultra close ratio 5 speed transmissions are offered for sale. Also available is the x-member, drive shaft, throw out bearing, shifter and throw out lever. The FS5C71A transmission was used in the early Z cars and the SRL 311 2000 Roadster. They will fit a 510 or Z car Both transmissions are equipped with the ultra close gear set (terrific road race ratios): 1.858, 1.388, 1.217, 1.0, 0.852
History
First ultra close ratio transmission was last raced in 1994 and has been in dry storage ever since. Transmission was used in a GT 4 Datsun 510. 2nd transmission carried as a spare and not raced, also stored.
