Description
The car is in A1 condition. A complete restoration was completed in 2005, and has only run 2.5 hours since. The car comes with two complete sets of bodywork, one as seen in the photos and the other a Falconer sports car nose with front radiator and side pods similar to a Ralt RT-1, four additional shocks, spare rear wing, and spare front wings, nose mold and two and a half sets of wheels. The wheels on the car as pictured are from Lee Chapman Magnesium, and the spare set is an Aluminum/Magnesium BBS set. The restoration included all new nickel plated cromoly suspension a-arms, new wiring and plumbing. The roll bar is new along with the dash support made of much stronger nickel plated cromoly tubing. The paint is beautiful Raven black with Porsche Speed yellow wings and in perfect condition. Engine has new head with big valves and 48mm Webers. History
This is a two time National champion car. In 1973 the car was raced with a Lotus twin cam and won the runoffs as a Formula B and in 1975 the car won the Formula Atlantic title with a Cosworth BDD, driven both times by Ken Duclos. Duclos an East coast hot shoe even raced for Shelby in the Bahamas. All documentation is included. It's vintage history includes Peter Gates five races in the late 90's and past owner running 10 weekends in the midwest i.e. Gingerman, Road America, Blackhawk and Grattan.
