1959 MG MILANO Historically significant Group Lb Sports racing car built and driven by Bruce Leer and raced successfully from the late 1950's into the early 60's. Won best restoration when rebuilt in 1984 and has been expertly maintained and developed into a class winning car by owner mechanic John Scott.Standing 1/4 in 15 seconds.Recently rebuilt MGTF 1500 engine with billet steel crank,Argo conrods,forged pistons and billet steel cam by Camtech,steel flywheel, modified cyl head, Produces 85 bhp @6500RPM at the wheels and weighs only 500kgs. 10" drum brakes are adequate.Chassis is MGJ2c/r MGTC gearbox.Fibreglass body by JWF is similar shape to Ferrari Monza.The car will be next raced at Wakefield Park in September.
