Description
The car was built by Pete Vickers and raced by Bill Sollis in the Miglia Series during the 90's. I imported the car thru the Mini Seven Club in 2000 and developed it for GT4/5 racing. The car was gone over front to back in 2006. It has a fresh at 1380 with all 3 steel main caps, Omega pistons, Arrow rods, Russell engineering camshaft, new Metro turbo crank, Ultra light Swiftune flywheel, Arrow backing plate, new paddle clutch, roller rockers, Slark head and belt drive. Gearbox is JKD dog type, rebuilt with new laygear, shaft and bearings. Salisbury L.S.D. with JKD 3.9:1 CWP. Carb is 45 DCOE with Maniflow inlet and large bore headers, all ceramic coated. Ignition is Electromotive crankfire. Brakes are KAD 4 pot alloy with AP master cylinders. 10 gal. ATL fuel cell (new in 2005) with Facet red top pump. Suspension has everything rose jointed, with "double" adjustable Spax, front and single adjustable Spax rear shocks. All suspension adjustments can be made on the car without taking anything off. Cobra seat, Elliot tach, new high inertia starter, QR steering wheel, inside mount shifter, adjustable rear sway bar, fire suppression system and more. Wheels are (10) Spectrum Racing with 6 new slicks and 4 rain tires. The car has done well in Canada and the U.S. Winning the Canadian GT4 Championship and Ultimate Mini Challenge in 2004 at Blackhawk.
