This car belonged to Guy Frost, and was raced in New England for many years. I purchased the car in 2007 and began an immediate frame up restoration. The car was disassembled and the frame was media blasted to bare metal. During this time the engine was rebuilt by Barry Sale of PHP Race Engines, Wauconda, IL. The dyno sheet is included along with details of the subsequent freshening in 2013. The frame was crack checked and welded or brazed where necessary, then dipped and painted. All perishable parts have been replaced and/or upgraded: bearings, bushings, braided oil lines, silicon water hoses, aluminum radiator, oil cooler, Porterfield brakes shoes, Minifin brake drums, slave cylinders, Tilton pedals and master cylinders, steering ujoints, shocks, springs, belts, mirrors, ATL fuel cell, Facet fuel pump, fuse panel, Firebottle, etc. All body work was performed at the Bodyshop of Barrington, in Barrington IL. There is an extra nose and tail, painted and graphics already applied. This car has been raced continuously since 2008, at the following tracks: VIR, Lime Rock, Pittsburgh, Grattan, Blackhawk Farms, Hallett, TWS, and Joliet. The car has been shown at Amelia Island Concours de Elegance 2013, Milwaukee Masterpiece, and Keels and Wheels where it won 1st in Class.
Boxes of documentation including magazine articles accompany this car.
