Some plastic crates with tons of “all Mini” parts, a real trove of stuff, some useful some not so….. This car would be welcomed at many, many events and has won accolades from VARA and CSRG for prep and authenticity. The car is prepped as a replica of my father 60’s race / rally hack (err car, they were disposable in those days)!! For you Brits, the rear plate is a copy and does not have a V5. The car has a Ca pink slip and is on non-op with the DMV and has a CSRG racing logbook. Buyer will get copies of setup and lap sheets, photos and other docs if requested. Lap times at local tracks 2.02 at Sears Point 1.58 ish at Laguna Seca 2.20 at Thunderhill And in true BAT fashion I will attempt to pre answer the usual FAQ’s. Could it be a streetcar? - Needs a detune, street tires and complete wiring loom etc to even come close, but anything is possible as it does have a Ca pink slip. Is there any damage? - There is a crease on the scuttle (where a hood pin let go, bye bye bonnet), plus the usual racing scars. Both the front and rear valences are a little bent, but are the originals and are not too bad. Approx. HP? -Brand new engine never dynoded, but 105+ would be expected. Will I split the spares? -No. Are the graphics removable? - Yes, all vinyl, except the roof, which is painted. It has the wrong trunk? - Possibly, it may be a MKIII but it was on the car. The hood is a replacement, but a MKII skin. Is the roll bar legal? - It is in most places I have raced, this is vintage remember!!!! I have never been asked to change or alter it. - Will I fit in it? I weigh 170lbs and am 6 foot, not a problem, you are basically sitting on the floor anyway. Delivery options? - Buyer pays for delivery of the car and all spares and extra items. Car is located in San Francisco’s bay area, buyer is welcome to come pick it up!!!
