This is a rust free 1961 Alfa Romeo GIULIETTA SPRINT body. Series 101.02. A rolling chassis. A great solid foundation to either build a vintage race car or to restore to an original road car.
This 1961 Alfa Romeo Sprint was originally purchased new in Rome, Italy. Spent its first few years in Cambridge Massachusetts. Was maintained by Gaston Andrey. At some point in mid 1960s it was parked in a garage. In the 1990s it was rescued and painted Alfa red in preparation to build a race car. The project stalled and it sat in a climate controlled garage for nearly 18 years. We found it as body only and added original front suspension, rear axle and wheels to allow the car to move freely. Also, front and rear glass and grilles and tail lights. Now this rust free body is ready to start a new chapter of its life in either way you choose, race or street.
