BUICK SOMMERSET IMSA GTO/AAC This car was raced by NASCAR rising star Kenny Irwin Jr. in IMSA. Kenny criss-crossed the country racing this car at IMSA races 1986 through 1991. He managed a class win in 1990 at Heartland Park and placed 7th in 1990 IMSA GTO points. Most of the set-up sheets from this period are included with the car. Also present is the SCCA log book signed by Kenny, which shows the seven SCCA races that he did in 1988. The car is equipped with the race version Buick V-6 with T-10 trans. There are various spares including a spare engine, spare block, intake, drop gears for the quick change, hub components, many wheels, etc. The car has been sitting for several years, and should be “gone through” in order to make “track ready”.
