1991 Penske Racing, Rusty Wallace Pontiac, ready to race in historic road race class.18 degree race engine, road race transmission , 22 gallon fuel cell, dual MSD ignition , auto meter gauges, just completed restoration. This is one of the first 4 RHE chassis purchased by Roger Penske upon his return to NASCAR racing in 1991. This is a Rhine Enterprise documented and restored race car.
History
Penske Racing South chassis number 002, purchased from RHE, and raced originally on intermediate tracks for the 1991-1994 NASCAR seasons By Driver Rusty Wallace. this car was road raced out west and ran in the only NASCAR group at Monterey Historics, after several seasons historic racing out west the car was sent back east for a full restoration and is now for sale in excellent condition.
