Purchased by current owner in 2005 for the sum of $49,000.00 as a complete running 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera. Vin# WPOAA29902S621499 (original title available ) with under 40k miles for the purposes of converting to Grand Am Cup Specs. (this was not a salvage yard parts car) Owner contracted with one of the premier Porsche race prep shops in Southern Ca. Vision Motor Sports to build and develop the car. At the end of 2006 race series Car was retired and in storage after engine and trans rebuilt by Vision Motorsports ,2011 Vision Motorsports performed all necessary prep work to return the car back to race condition, over $5k prep work was performed , there after the current owner stored the car in his personal shop for storage, the car was started up and ran on stands on a regular bases making sure there are no mechanical issues with drive train, engine / trans have been consistently heat cycled all work was performed by A&B Racing Enterprises to date.
