Description
Exceptionally clean car with meticulous attention to detail, as one would expect from a works competition car. As is the norm for the highly rated Crossle cars, this one is very sturdily built and completely adjustable. The bodywork on this car is the aerodynamically efficient long track version with the extended rear. The cockpit is very comfortable for a large or tall man (current owner is 6'3 215lbs). All controls (pedals, shifter, steering column) are adjustable to ensure a good fit. Car has been upgraded to current SCCA safety requirements, including fuel cell, fire suppression system and cockpit anti-intrusion side panels. This car has the easy-shifting Hewland LD 200 series transmission and an Ivey engine that was freshened at the end of last season with zero hours since. This car also benefits from outstanding spares availability from the factory through the US distributor Porter Racing. Owner will consider trade for Porsche, Harley or other interesting ideas.
History
Crossle factory/works car raced by Pat Duffy at the Formula Ford Festival in 1989. Campaigned by Le Volant of Montreal in the Canadian National Formula Ford Championships until mid-90's, then as a regional car until '02. Imported to USA in '03. US SCCA Homologation, Logbook & annual tech complete.
