Description
Very nice car raced in the Formula Ford Challenge Series for the past four years. Strong Farley engine, one of the last he did with almost everything new. 116.8HP on his dyno. 12 hours since new, no over-revs. Extended height roll hoop by Fab-Tech, easily fits a tall driver (current driver 6'1"). Hewland Mk9 gearbox with lots of ratios, shifts well. Tilton clutch and new hydraulics. Widened A-Arms (Pat Prince) to make essentially a T-540E. Front calipers rebuilt 3 races ago by Averill. One race on rebuilt steering rack. Koni double adjustable shocks rebuilt by Truesports in 2018. New fuel cell and firewall 2016. New halon fire bottle 2018. Sabelt harness good through 2022. Total of 14 Revolution wheels, one race old Hoosier VFF tires and an older set of same. Spare body, two spare wide noses and a spare narrow nose (spare bodywork needs minor repair and paint). Very predictable car, handles well and no real vices. Really ready to put on the track.
History
Pole '79 Runoffs. 6th place at 40th Formula Ford Reunion (out of 66).
