Description
1965 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 which has been raced since 1972. Recently restored to original factory blue color with extensive body restoration. New TZ replica wheels complete the racing package. Yet to be installed is a full length racing windshield but it is included in the final selling price. The engine is fully done and revs to a comfortable 8000 RPM's. An MSD rev limiter has been installed. Kirkey full race seat, current belts, fire suppression, fuel cell, full roll cage, Hoosier tires, a race muffler for those pesky tracks w/sound restrictions, 2 freshly rebuilt Weber 45's(Italian built), Veloce Race headers, limited slip, hardwired transponder, new Brembos upfront, a new aluminum flywheel and kevlar clutch. This car was originally built in 1972 by John Damaria and Jeff Bateman and has been raced in North America in various setups for 35 years. Potential buyers can see pictures from 1975 and all the recent restoration shots as well. I have a logbook back to 2004--but the dash plate (CASC) is much earlier. A forgiving and reliable racecar that actually fits a tall driver(I am 6'5")--but could be modified to fit any leg length.
