Description
This is a turn key 1929 Auburn two seat street registered and legel race car. It is powered by a strait 8 cylinder lycoming engine with two downdraft carbs. The transmission is the Warner 3 spd dog box. The car is fitted with easily removeable cycle fenders and lights for use on the street and is very enjoyable to drive through town or spiritedly through the country. It runs on gas and cools well both at speed and idle. The car is currently titled and registered for street use. The title is 1929 Auburn for Ohio and is clear. It is nicely sorted out and is proving as reliable as my everyday BMW. All coachwork is aluminum with the exception of the original Auburn radiator shroud. The coachwork is so fine you will not find body filler hiding sins as is the case with many cars. The engine is fresh and runs as it should with excellent oil pressure and does not smoke. Two adult men can ride comfortably in the car and it will accomodate a driver up to 6'5" tall with out issue. Generally the car drives excellent as you would expect. I have been planning to vintage race this car and have been sorting it out for that purpose while enjoying it on the street.
