Description
1966 Square tube Ginetta G4 race car,extremely famous car raced in Europe by Tony Ingram with amazing record of track successes. The car was subject of a Classic & Sportscar December 1985 track test by Willie Green. #4/0245 came to USA in 80's via Lee Chapman and was raced by Robert J Burt from Connecticut prior to passing to Steve Rogers from Colorado who also raced the car extensively. The car is registered with Ginetta Owners club and is pictured in the Trevor Pyman Ginetta G4 book (Pages123 & 124)
History
The car won The Post Historic Road Sports Championship in UK in the early 80's, in 15 races won 13 class wins, one second and one third. Also entered and won all 5 of the Kit Car Challenge class races and the championship two years running. The car raced at Sebring, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta etc in the Vintage Race Association Meetings. Race Vehicle Log Books from 1986 when the car came to USA go with the car, including a photocopy of the Classic & Sportscar, 1985 Wille Green track test
