Very fast Corvette C5R now being offered for sale: Recently fully rebuilt and repainted (March 2012) with a reworked and upgraded cooling system (Dec 2012) this full-on race car would be a formidable package in regional racing (NASA, PBOC, FARA) with very reliable running, great handling and buckets of power. Alternatively it would also be well suited to continuing its life as a track day car that is several steps above anything that a street legal car could achieve. Developed over several seasons of Ontario regional racing and being ultimately capable of 1m 24.5s around Mosport (only 3s slower than a Porsche GT3 Cup lap record and a fraction of the running costs), this is a cost effective race car package that has the reliability to lap all day long, as has been proven giving high speed rides at our monthly 6th Gear track day events at Mosport through the last 4 years and the car well known to our members. Details of the car are as follows: C5R Corvette built for regional racing in 2006 from 2002 year donor car.
