GT3 1991 Nissan 240 SX

Original chassis built by Timmons/Preston Racing in 1991. Chassis updated in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998 and 2002.

Chassis Specifications:
1. Three link rear with Winter Quick Change with alum bottom watts link.
2. New “long” A-arm /rear tension rod front suspension. A-arm adjusting tube sleeves for caster and camber, alum. front hubs, 3”x1/2” piloted wheel studs.
3. Aluminum Carrera small body, gas filled, coil overs, with 2.5” springs.
4. Tubular front and rear sway bars. Front adjustable with holes; rear has rotating cockpit adjustable blade.
5. ATL aluminum fuel cell with dual Carter pumps
6. Aluminum Griffin Radiator and aluminum radiator to engine water tubes.
7. Ten pound fire system
8. Aluminum Hiems and links.
9. Aeroquip lines exclusively.
10. Nippon/Denzo small racing alternator mounted on QC and driven off yoke.
11. “Optima” spiral core battery.
12. Auxiliary power source connector.
13. Forward chassis section connected with “pip” pins for quick removal.

1. Wilwood Superlite II front calipers and vented rotors
2. JFZ rear calipers and vented rotors
3. Front rotor “eyes” sealed off and ducted for cooling to front nose

3. Winters Magnesium Quick Change with aluminum axle tubes, Full floater Winters axle assembly. Alternator mounted on Quick Change and driven off drive shaft yoke. Gun drilled axles. Aluminum hubs & drive plates. Aluminum spool.
4. Aluminum Coleman drive shaft
5. Tilton Annular discharge throw out bearing
6. Borla Competition Racing muffler attached with “Marmon” clamps to collector

This car has won 14 Southwest Division GT3 National Championships and 89 National races. The car has raced 13 times at the SCCA Runoffs.
