This car is a clean example of David Bruns' revolutionary design. This car is the predesessor to the Swift DB1.
Fewer than 20 examples were built, this model won the SCCA Runoffs 3 times (1973, 1975 and 1980).
History
This chassis was built by Steve Anderson Racing in 1979 under the supervison of Mike Hull who is now the
team manager at Target/Chip Ganassi Racing. It was run as the factory car for Rick Anderson in 1980 and 1981.
Recent Competition History
It has since raced in Nationals and Regionals by various drivers.
