Description
The car was replicated after a 911 RSR to compete in the Historic Sportscar Racing Series (www.hsrace.com) on the East coast. The race car has gone through an extensive year long professional ground up build and has been beautifully engineered with no expense spared. The work was preformed a couple of years ago. As you can see from the pictures the level of fabrication is extremely high. The most current race was at Daytona Internal Speedway (home of the Rolex 24 hour at Daytona). The car is currently set up for the high-banks at Daytona, geared for approximately 160mph. This car has never been wrecked. The vehicle is a complete tube chassis and has not retained the original factory floor pan. The body is completely fiberglass with the exception of the roof (which is original steel). Total weight was slightly under 2000 pounds with engine and Transmission installed and ready to race. The engine and Transaxle are currently out of the car. The engine is ready to be re-assembled. The transaxle is ready to go. My price includes chassis, transaxle and engine. All the body work is new and so is the paint. The vehicle has a complete fire extinguishing system, quick disconnect steering wheel, racing bucket seat , six-point seat belts, front and rear master cylinders with balance bar, Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-lite gauges, lots of new steel braded line and a moroso accusump for the high banked tracks. The chassis has been designed around a G50 Transmission with external oil cooler and was mated to a carbureted professionally assembled 3.6 liter twin plug racing motor with all the good stuff (over $20,000 was spent on engine and transmission alone). Well over $70,000 dollars was spent preparing this car and it proved to be Very Quick.
