DescriptionBeginning with an old tired BDD, Jennings did their usual quality job and replaced virtually everything. The Jennings build parts list is enclosed. Suffice it to say that just about the only things retained from the original engine were the head and cam box and cover. There is a new block, crank, rods, pistons, and valve gear. Still in small valve spec, it has long intakes.The engine was run for 8 races (approx 12 hours) on virtually all new parts and sent back to Jennings for rebuild as a spare as the owner had obtained a new big valve BD. It was dyno tested only and never re-installed. |
