History
The car had been hill-climbed and raced in F3 in England. No proof though. Chuck Schroedel (Bedford, NY) imported the car in 1969 and ran under SRC (Springdel Racing Corp – sticker in history package) in Formula C with 1100 cc Lucas injection Cosworth motor he bought from Dick Smothers. Mike Rand (Lakeville, CT) next owned the car and won the 1970 American Road Race of Champions in Formula C. The car then moved to Bobby Foster (Glenwood Acres Ski School – south of Buffalo, NY). Subsequently bought by Larry Styer and raced in 1974 followed by Bruce Ryder, Buffalo, NY. John Lindsay, Canada, bought the car in 1988 and sold it to the current owner in 2006. The car was modified to Formula B in 1974 and restored to that configuration.Performance Data
