Description:
We have recently decided to upgrade our GT1 car to a Tony Ave built unit. We have done our testing with the new car, have finished two races, and now view our old GT1 car as a distant memory. We need to sell this older, fast, non DNFing car. Just this last August before the Runoffs we spent over $20,000 in parts alone. The car at the moment right now is 100% race ready! Complete with spares (lots of times when buying a race car the spares are old junk; NOT the case here). We are including an additional 18 degree 720 hp engine with clutch, flywheel, oil pump, oil lines, engine plate all installed and ready for a quick engine change. We are including another new style Jerico tranny with dual pumps and all the fittings installed so connecting the many oil lines to it is quick. We are including another fresh Franklin quick change rear that has a recent Torson, all mounts welded, -1.6 camber, caliper mounts just like the one in the car for quick changing. These three major drive line components are a must when racing one of these cars hard. There are many other spares like new unused axles, rotors, pads, clutch discs, brand new radiator with heat exchanger and car mounts, another fuel cell, nose, hood, upper and lower a arms... Of course there are many other little things that I have not listed but will work on that. There is no doubt to me that the first person who comes to see what is included, will find a way to purchase the car. The car has fresh as of September Triple adjustable Penske shocks. Zero scrub radius and no bump steer. We just moved the new oil tank over passenger rear axle. 2 windshields with antifog coating, but really one is good for the rain because it is new. EVERY heim joint on the car is new in August. Every bearing on the car is new since August/ September. An extra 12 hp comes from a tall wood carb spacer so the hood scoop was enlarged and yes we have a mold. Driver adjustable sway bars.
History
The car was built buy Trotnow Racing in 2003. The car was purchased in 2005 when I became the cars mother. For the most part the car was driven at street car events for the first four years. These first four years, the driver got maybe 40% of its potential on the track. We have won the MARRS regional championship 2009 and 2010 while getting 80% out of the car. In 2011 we got the driver off a a plateau while testing well under the track record at our local track, Summit Point. When the car was purchaced, I saw in the logbook that the car has had Trans Am history but I believe those logbooks have been lost. In 2007 the car was completely stripped, inspected then repowder coated.
Competition History
Three championships; two regional and one national division. More wins than I can count but last year we won 2/3 of the races we went to. Last year we set a Pocono record and in 2011 we set the New Jersey Motorsports record.
