History
Ownership transferred from Carl Haas to Fred Opert in Jan 1966 then sold to Willie McKemie in Austin, Texas. Willie, Fred and one other driver raced first at the 1966 Daytona 24 hour race, placing 31st then at Sebring 12 Hour for 25th overall, finishing ahead of some very notable drivers of the day. Willie ran the car in SCCA for several years then it was campaigned by Walt Taylor, Ed and Mark Brannon before being passed on Craig Chima in 2001 who was E Prod Champ in 2002. Since 2010 I have raced with great results in VSCDA and SVRA.
Competition History
Couple of class wins and several 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Always competitive.
