Description:
The car has raced since 1976 with Lotus power, and is accepted in VARAC G70+, SVRA G10, HSR G3 (with Hossier tires). It has been maintained in its 'as last raced' condition, with only current safety updates done. There is an eight point cage with double intrusion bars. Special features are the 'home-built' diff. cooler and water cooling for front brakes. This car was built and raced by the original owner for 20+ years, the current owner is the second owner/driver. Newspapers, magazines, and progams documenting the car's history are included.
History
The car was purchased new in March 1971 and immediately prep'd and raced in SOLO 1. From 1972 to 75 it ran in Quebec's CASC B Production with xflow 1600. During the winter of 75/76 it was rebuilt to GT2 specifications with a Lotus Twin Cam. In this configuration it won three Quebec GT2 Championships in the 80's. A highlite was starting from the pole at the 1982 Montreal F1 support race.Performance Data
