Winner, 25 Hours Of Thunderhill, E0 Class 2013. The Boss 302S is sold as a "turn-key" race car by Ford Racing and is built by Watson Engineering in annual batches of 50 for Pirelli World Challenge GTS class. Everyone who sees a Boss 302S is impressed with the quality of the workmanship. This car is number 14 from the 2013 build. It has the sole 2013 factory option of Multi-matic 2-way adjustable dampers. We purchased S/N 14 new from a dealer in Tennessee in February of 2013. Our sole purpose was to prep, test and run the car at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The car has been run in three test sessions and two test races prior to the 25 Hours. Pirelli World Challenge shops Always Evolving and Cortex Racing performed extensive upgrades to the car based on World Challenge experience: - new front splitter (quick change) - higher rate front springs - new expansion tank - upgraded clutch - differential cooler - Watts link - driver footwell insulation - fuel cell (to NASA specs for 25 Hours) - cool suit box - drink system - helmet blower. The car has also been upgraded to the 2014 spec Brembo brake package. It comes with 2 sets of 10" Ford Racing/BBS wheels. The cost of these upgrades exceeds $40,000. You will need the majority of these modifications to be competitive. Car has run flawlessly, and completed the 25 Hours with only a single broken wheel stud. Car is currently receiving post- race service in Los Angeles and will be available February 1. Car can be run in Pirelli World Challenge, Continental Challenge, SCCA T1, NASA ST3 and American Iron. The Boss 302 was the 2011 series champion in Pirelli World Challenge GTS. Boss 302 also won 2013 NASA American Iron national championship.
