Description:
Unearthed from a museum in 1995, this car was the subject of a restoration between 1995 and 1998 in order to compete in Supersports races in Europe. This represents an interesting and competitive alternative to the McLarens seen more often on the race tracks.
History
Sold in 1971 by Jo Bonnier to Mr Fraissinet (a French driver), the car took part in races in 1971 and 1972, with a first placing in 1972 at the "Coupes Inter de Printemps" in Albi. The car was also driven by well know French drivers Jean-Pierre Beltoise (F1 driver for Ken Tyrrell, Matra and BRM) at the Urcy hillclimb and by Gerard Larousse in Hockenheim in 1971. The car was later sold to Mr Adrien Megg.
Competition History
This car was used over the last few years in Supersports races in Europe.
