Description:
Lotus 23C, B body. Mainly campaigned in Europe by Swiss owners (1967-1994). European Historic Champion 1985. Driven in 1995 Monterey Historic races. New 188 hp dry sump Lotus twincam, recently prepared by Tony Ingram, Santa Barbara, California, 5-speed Hewland, fire system. FIA registration (1982, photocopy).
History
Car's papers show it being imported into Switzerland in 1967. Photocopies of 1970s logbook pages and 1982 FIA registration. Letter from Swiss owner Ivan Scotti detailing 1985 race results in European Historic Chamionship, in which the car won its class.
