Description:

Lotus Europa chassis, modified class car previously owned and raced by Gavin Scott in England. Championship winning car,has led flag to flag at Brandes Hatch. This a roller that comes with a low-use 13b Bridgeported rotary engine built by Louie Rivera of The Mazda-Honda Shop in Denver CO. This is a track only car using just the Europa chassis. Suspension was designed by Geoscan, and was built to win. And it did! Plumbed in fire suppression, Lexan windows, full cage, bagged fuel tanks, tons of spares! Needs a Hewland Mk.9 or Mazda Star Series trans axle.


History

I never finished the car myself. Never drove it. Didn't ever receive the history from Gavin Scott short of a newspaper clipping from the flag to flag win at Brandes Hatch. Gavin sold me the car in 2002, and it's been stored indoors ever since. He was the European importer of Red Line Oil last I talked to him. I imagine he could still be reached for conformation of this car's history. The bodywork he did is not pretty, I will admit. But the chassis work is first rate. All steel parts coated for anti-corrosion. Again, this is a full race machine built on the Europa chassis. Not even the cockpit was retained. Everything hand built around the center channel.
