Description:

Period-built (1963) copy of a Lotus 23 built by John Sharrigan at his shop in Allston, Massachusetts. Originally built with a Coventry Climax 1100cc FWA engine for SCCA g-modified class. Subsequently up- dated to Ford 1600 BDA power with Hewland FT200 gearbox. Raced extensively in SCCA through the 70's. Changed hands many times, eventually becoming SCCA solo 2 autocross car and winning Solo 2 championship in 1988. Purchased and restored by current owner 2001-2003 and raced in SVRA group 5 from 2003 to 2009. Very well known, competitive vintage racer with great history. Many possibilities...could be converted to original g-mod specs and engine and drivetrain used for your vintage Formula Atlantic project. Car is in the Boston, Mass area.
