1957 Lotus XI Series 2, chassis #300, supposedly the first series 2 car built. Fresh SRE 1460cc FWB engine. Richmond transmission, Quaiffe LSD with new ring and pinion. Fresh and ready to race!
History
Originally bought from Lotus by Dan Margulies in 1957. Dan raced the car in Sicily, Austria, Nurbergring, France and Denmark. After passing through a number of owners, it ended up with in 1991 with Allan Mcgregor in the UK before being sold to the US and its current owner Jim Hamlin in 1993.Performance Data
