Description:

This car was completely restored in 2011 by the top Lotus 7 builder/restorer in the U.S.and has been raced at several events annually since that time. It is arguably the fastest Lotus Super 7 currently vintage racing in the U.S. The chassis is fully reinforced throughout with custom rollbar with extra side-impact protection. All aluminum panels were replaced with new and are both glued and riveted for extra chassis rigidity. The pedal box was moved slightly forward for extra comfort and the car will accommodate drivers up to 6'3" tall. The car comes with a proper "all-steel" 1500 Pre- Crossflow Ford motor and custom dog engagement 4 speed transmission, lightweight clutch and flywheel and special limited slip differential. All components used in the build of this car are "best of the best" and it has run 2:29 at Road America, 2:07 at Watkins Glen, 2:05 at VIR, 58 seconds at Lime Rock, and 1:36 at Mid Ohio. New Fuel Safe Fuel cell in 2017, new adjustable QA1 shocks and springs in 2016, aluminum hubs and billet axles throughout, custom fabricated exhaust system, original Smiths gauges, new aluminum radiator and hoses plus much, much more.
