Description:
This is a fully restored late first series production car. Unused for 15 years, the car has a race
history before being returned to street
specification with some reliability and performance enhancements left intact. The car was subject of a
extensive restoration process covering a 4 year period and has only been in limited use 2-3 years
since covering no more than 5000 miles. It has always been garage kept and is rarely driven. Details
of the restoration work are included in the specifications below. Total indicated mileage on the car
is 60,000.

- Non-stock 1/2 race twin cam

- Robust 6-bolt bottom end big bearing caps
- Hepolite pistons at .020 over
- balanced
- Head has Lots of port work
- 1.65" intake, 1.5 exhaust valves
- Converted back to wet-sump
- New clutch and lightened fly wheel
- Stainless steel exhaust mid-section with Supertrap muffler
- Very streetable cams with nice bump in power after 4500 RPM. With mild cams engine develops in the
vicinity of 150 HP. Currently has stainless steel factory headers. With race exhaust and more aggressive
cams 165HP is easily obtainable. - leakdown and bearings checked 3000 miles ago

- original rust-free chassis
- Spax adjustables on the front, stock cartridges in rear
- Disassembled, bead blasted and epoxy painted. All bushings replaced.
- rears bushes are delrin w/stainless steel inserts. Rear lowers machined to clear Panasport alloy wheels
- Steering mechanism restored and or new including S1 wood wheel
- all new disks, rebuilt calipers. All new masters and slave cylinders,
new aeroquip lines for clutch and brakes - light weight Panasport wheels
- new everything except the seat frames
- Dash remade from solid teak, not veneer (only S1 's have teak dash)
- Instruments rebuilt
