Description:
March 74B converted to 2 litre CAN AM in the 1980's. Very sucessful. 2.3 litre Cosworth YBM built by Hank Clarkson with only 3 hours running time. 320hp, 230 ft lb torque. 1140 pounds dry. FT 200 built by Mong, 3 hours on new ring and pinion. Koni 8212 shocks, Eibach springs, Stack tach, Willans belts, fuel safe cell. Just painted white, formerly blue with stars and moons. Car is race ready. Very well sorted and easy to drive. 1:54 at Watkins Glen, 1:26 Mid Ohio. This car is a giant killer. 3rd overall in GTP race at the Glen 3 yrs ago! Never, ever beaten by a 2 litre car in historic racing in 14 years! You cannot go faster for the money. The car was then sold to Australia where it is at the moment. It was never raced in Australia and has not been used since it was brought over from the USA.
History
Won 2 litre class at Mosport in 1986 Can Am, 3rd overall, Driven by Mauro Lanaro. Very well prepared and sorted. Just finished 2nd overall (Behind McLaren) at SVRA Finale at VIR. Fastest 2 litre car by 2.5 seconds a lap.Performance Data
