Description:
The tub is a March 761 solid riveted where possible and mated to a Hewland DG400 and a march rear Differential casing, all gears and diffs are Hewland. The engine is a fresh long stroke DFV. The car was completely rebuilt over a two year period in 2010 and has race 8 times since All wish bones are nickel plated, all fasteners are NAS or AN, most rod ends are NMB. All welding is to aircraft standard, all hoses are crimped from Earls. All wiring is aviation standard with waterproof terminals. Radiators are by Dockings, new this year.
History
Built by March as a prototype in 1976 it was shelved after a year due to lack of funding, it was a "barn find" by the current owner in 2010 and rebuilt over a two year period to aircraft standard. Carrying on from where March left off steady development has produced a unique, reliable and highly competitive race car.
