This professionally maintained car has many Toyota Atlantic starts in Pro Series and SCCA Club events. The car is race ready with 400 miles since the engine was freshened. The car is accompanied with a large number of spares and all information for the vendors of the original components. It would make an effective and unusual Club racer.


History

The Raven Atlantic cars were originally designed under a well-funded effort by Jim Griffith in Ohio. Three chassis were completed but only two of the cars made it to the grid, the third ultimately becoming a parts car. Featuring a number of advances over the then-dominant RT-41 the cars are thinner and smaller with excellent straight line speed. They debuted in the 1994 season. At Three Rivers Steve Cameron put one on outside pole and his team mate qualified fourth. That year the team earned a number of poles and outside poles but financing dried up and the cars were sold to Bob Roy of Canada who campaigned them in a inadequately financed effort. They were then acquired by Kevin Cogan who ran successfully in Pro Atlantic and Club Racing with Hasselgren engines and never suffered a DNF, finishing every race he started with the cars and consistently finishing mid-pack against more recent designs.Performance Data
