2003 HSR class champion Jaguar XK120. This beautiful BRG 1953 XK120 has been a crowd-pleasing vintage race car since the late 1980s, with numerous appearances at SVRA and HSR events from Elkhart Lake to Sebring to the Bahamas. After running at the BRIC in July 2004, its 3.4-liter motor was sent to original engine builder Bill Terry of Terry's Jaguar where it is awaiting a refresh. The rebuild will achieve a state-of-tune befitting its original character, retaining its 3400 cc displacement and two 2-inch SUs achieving approximately 210 hp. Sensible upgrades to cooling, braking and gearbox systems have made this a very reliable and competitive race car. Capable of 2:35 lap times at Watkins Glen, sub 3:00 minutes at Sebring, 1:41 at Grattan. SVRA logbook. $40,000 negotiable.
