Description:
A three year restoration ended with acceptance to the 2010 Monterey Historic races. No expense spared restoration including all new or restored trim, new body rubber where required, Lexan glass everywhere but the front windshield, new interior including correct material headliner and aluminum backed door panels with stock opener, fiberglass dash, cool suit connection with dash switch, hidden wiring with Painless 6 pot fuse panel, hidden on trunk package shelf fire system, RaceTech halo seat, new roll cage 1 3/4" DOM, Tilton adjustable bias brake and clutch pedals. All rotted metal replaced including floors from England, wiper cowl/firewall and front and rear valance's. The engine compartment and new floors were seam welded for additional strength. 13/1 compression 110 leaded race gas motor with a hard chromed steel crankshaft, Venolia pistons, big valves, beryllium seats, remote oil filter race motor built by Robert Rodgers. Ready to go racing with only 3 weekends since a re-fresh. This car was built very closely to the FIA homologation papers for the GTAm.
History
This car was originally constructed for Alfa Club racing in the early 90's according to records. I acquired it in 2007 and took it completely apart for restoration.
