This absolutely perfect AC Cobra was built on special order for the current and only owner by AC Cars, Ltd. Brian Anglis, Chairman and owner,
worked with the owner to specify a highly modified and special lightweight body and equipment list. It is ready for road or race use with little modification.


History

The car was shipped to Detroit after completion in 1995 and a highly respected Ford engineer and Cobra specialist completed the installation
of the factory Ford 351 HO crate engine. The engine was upgraded after some use over factory specs with changes to increase hp and torque and
head flow, from 1.6 to 1.72 ratio, thereby increasing valve lift. These changes allowed the compression ratio to remain at a street drivable
9.5:1, also allowing the use of high test unleaded available at any gas station. The newest Holley 750 HP was also fitted and was tuned by
a Ford Dragster specialist. The car starts easy, idles OK in traffic, does not overheat and has unbelievable torque throughout the gears.
