Description:

The Allard J-2X is the most famous of all the Allards. The cars were manufactured by Sydney Allard in London. The cars that
came to the USA were imported without engines, and then the importer put engines in them. This car has a Cadillac V8.

History

This particular car #J2X3042 was imported into Los Angeles, California in February 1952 and was raced in Southern California
in the 50’s. It is believed to have been used in the late 50’s as a drag racer. The car then went into disrepair and was stored
in a barn for over 25 years. I have a more detailed chronology of its history, including the original Allard Delivery sheets
and early photos of the car, all of which will be sold with the car.
