Description:

The car has undergone a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The engine has been
rebuilt and has dyno-time only. All mechanicals and suspension have been completely restored.
The car carries it's original Candy livery and is race ready.


History

The Tyrrell 009 was the firms first ground effects car and followed Lotus 79 lines. The car
appeared competitive as the year began and Tyrrell ended a respectable fifth in the Constructor's
Championship with the car, with four third place finishes. Drivers that year were Derek Daly,
Jean-Pierre Jarier, Geoff Lees, and Didier Pironi.
