Description:

1972 Porsche 914-6 1900 # lbs. 300+ HP! Tubed out chassis was dipped/stripped/seam welded on a rotisserie. EXTENSIVE cage was overbuilt if anything (SAFE)all cage bars were DOUBLE side gussetted, DOUBLE drivers side impact protection, stiff as can be! Cut windscreen 3-4" high cockpit has sun/rain snap on cover, 3.0 911 SC motor with 12.5 to 1 compression (little time 2-3% recent leakdown test!)Carrillo rods, forged pistons, Total Seal Rings, 46 mm IDA Webbers, headers with megaphones (loud as hell) and shorty mufflers as spares for quieter operation (yeah right... still loud just less a bark), Electramotive ignition with custom distributor pickup (no variance like their setup very trick) individual coils (6)the alternator is driven off of the C/V joint NOT the cooling fan (quicker revs),Optima battery plus external plug in charger box too, 10 gauges!, short shifter, transmission is excellent and no spring comp clutch works GREAT, Quaiffe differential is really trick and hooks up really well without push AWESOME handling! The car has HUGE Hoosier slicks and it just lights them both up leaving the pits right NOW! :), engine and transmission coolers (2 for engine in front of each wheel) ALL Aeroquip throughout, Kirkey Aluminum seat, 6 point harness and Simpson arm restraints come w car, Body has no doors and big fenders w/vents on top of front fenders and on trailing edge of front flares (cool looking!) rear has NACA ducts for rear brakes, Front suspension arms are titanium I think, rear bananas are boxed and flex plates seam welded in rear chassis, all suspension is Delrin bushed and fresh, no torsion bars just Bilstein Coilovers NICE!, Fuel Cell, adjustable sway bars, wheels are 16" x 9" & 11" (I think) polished race modulars with big bolts they are light wiiiide and cool looking and perfect condition, brakes are 4 piston front w big aluminum hatted vented rotors and some spare pads I think I have too?,rear are 2 piston vented big steel 911 rotors (these brakes NEVER go away!) stainless steel braided lines, adjustable brake bias adjuster and 2 per side air ducts on front brakes. Fire system, Zeus fittings on airdam (w splitter) fr bumper, rr bumper, and rockers all come off w Zeus fittings. Hood and Decklid are pinned all those parts are fiberglass as are the flares. Paint is new and beautiful Mexico Blue / all white interior and under hood and decklid and underbody, THIS CAR WAS NEVER BENT/HIT/OR RUSTY WHATSOEVER!!! This is an absolutely amazing handling car and I could SPANK new 911 GT3s (2 yrs ago) when I was on older harder slicks and they were guys who go out ALL the time and do well w new rubber everytime! That was on a tight track (Blackhawk Farms Ill.) You will never have so much fun and the wind in your face / helmet is quite an experience. You will love this car and it is very reliable and over built!

History

It was raced and built and continually updated by a guy in SCCA in Michigan I bought it from. I only ran the car 2 times in 3 years and my Viper racecar 2 times in 2 years! (time w 2 kids limited)

Competition History

won many races I am told beating Vipers and Vettes I believe it. No documentation sorry.
