Description:

Rare GT3 Club Sport (only 1 of 3 known first generation GT3's in USA; and only known Club Sport version). I purchased the car in Germany in September 2005 and imported it to the USA in October 2005 as a PCA race car under the DOT/EPA Race Exemption process. The car is not street legal and cannot be made so in the USA but is street legal in Canada and all other countries where Porsche sells cars. The car was sorted using the best of everything from Porsche Motorsports with technical advice and set-up from Chris Cervelli (Technodyne), David Moore (Moorespeed), and Joel Reiser (PCA Technical Advisor; ReiserTechnik). At 2,944 pounds it is lighter than a Cayman or 964 Carrera with far superior handling and power. GT3 Cup upgrades include full 2001 Cup Bilstien suspension with main and tender springs (1600 pound main springs). GT3 RS tow links and monoballs, camber plates, plus other goodies in the suspension to maximize set-up possibilities. Crank case breather valve, dyno tuned exhaust, Porsche short shift kit, GT3 Cup engine carrier, GT3 Cup transmission mounts, and other PMNA parts ensure the ultimate in reliability and weight savings. ALL ORIGINAL CLUB SPORT PARTS HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY REMOVED/STORED AND COME WITH THE CAR. NOTHING HAS BEEN ALTERED ON THIS CAR THAT CANNOT BE UN-BOLTED. This car is a very fast/fun alternative to the sky-high costs of operating a GT3 Cup (I sold my Cup in 2005 to buy this car for this reason) and would make an incredible DE or race car -- particularly for someone belonging to a motorsport country club. History

One of the very first GT3's ever built (#77) in 1999. The "Mark I" GT3's were built from 1999 - 2001 and sold worldwide, except the USA. This is a very rare Club Sport model of which only a couple hundred were built.

Competition History

Multiple wins/podiums in only 7 US races in PCA.
