Description:
For the last 5 years I have been restoring this car. As you can see it has many extra parts. The motor was gone thru and sounds very strong. It is not rebuilt to pass a Scca inspection but I have all of the correct parts to make that happen. The front rotors are full floating design the same as a F3 or Indy Car. All pads are Performance Friction. All wheels on the car have new outside rims and a few inside rims have been replaced. The wheels have been check for trueness and the outsides have a new turned finish. I have replaced all of the wheel bearings on all axles. The CV joints are in very good condition. The tub is straight and true. There are all new front and rear master cylinders. So has the clutch master cylinder. The clutch is a Tilton 5''single disc. The car has a MSD ignition and a shift light. The Gas tank has been recertified. It comes with an Endro passenger gas tank. There are a spare set of wheels. Spare engine block with rods and pistons, three heads, three cams. Something that I have never seen is a set of 44mm Carburetors and intake manifold. The body has been strip and repainted GM white. There is a extra nose and extra nose ware strips. There are two types of rear wings. Many extra set of suspension springs. The car has a Halon fire system. There are a lot of extra motor parts, valves, springs, and rockers. I have a set of old style weight scales too. And a sliding quick race jack. I have driven it on the road to check out the shifting and brakes. The car runs strong. I just don't have the time to race the car because of my machine shop and racing parts business keep me to busy. So it is up for sale. I live in Richmond, Va. If an overseas buyer wants to have the car ship, I will work with them.
History
History of the car was it was used at a racing school in California and then sold to a Rusty M. He raced the car and I have somewhat of a log book with only a few pages in it. He then sold it to a Giuseppe M. He raced it a Sears Point and other west coast race tracks in the early nineties. The log books were lost during a move to the east coast. We have look all over the place for them. Giuseppe looked over the car the other day and said that it looked better then he has ever seen it. I would guess it still needs a little work to make it race ready but that is racing. Quote from someone that knows this car.( The car was part of the rental program with Zephyr racing (Dominic Dobson's group). We took it in as a partial trade for an SC84. I ran the car for a year as a rental. I have probably run 30-40 set up laps in the car and remember it as being a very nice car at the time. I think the car was green/white and red when we had it? When we closed the doors on Pro-Race Zephyr bought all are assets it must have been during that time that Rick M.bought the car. It looks like the car is almost ready to hit the track again. Good Job!)
