Description:
Car had ground up rebuild in 05-06, at which time chassis was taken to bare metal, crack checked, and powder coated. A.N. hardware and fasteners. From rollbar forward it is all original, it is very strong and safe, ie. your feet aren't sticking out forward of front suspension. Behind the rollbar the frame is re-engineered for strength, regidity, and safety. Rear rollbar braces are adjustable and removable for better weight distribution and less polar moment. The engine is mounted 1/2in. forward, and a custom oil tank is mounted behind the rear bulkhead. Balance is 40/60. All side panels are highly polished aluminum and fastened with cam-locks. Fabricated front rockers are much stronger than the original. 5/8in O.D. rear trailing arms for less drag. All fabricated rockers, A-arms and trailing arms made with 4130 chromoly. Double adjustable Konis on front, single on rear.
