Description:
Built for NASCAR road racing, this dog ring gearbox requires no clutch to shift. Only 6 races on the gearbox since new (cost $6450), and only 1 race on rebuild with new 25/31 main drive, 26/23 gear set, mid plate, cluster plate, and internal oil pump. Have these same spare parts, some good some crunched, after driver error. The G-Force GF4A is one of the strongest, most reliable 4-speed racing transmissions available. With its dual bearing center support and integrated midplate, the GF4A is a very compact and versatile. This design virtually eliminates shaft separation even under the most severe circumstances. The integrated midplate design offers superior rear bearing support and eliminates leaks. The GF4A uses a 32-spline output shaft and can be used with nearly any input shaft desired, and the gears are directly interchangeable. The main case and tailhousing are reinforced magnesium, coated for protection and ease of cleaning. Any standard H-Pattern shifter can be used.
