Description:


Lotus Twincam motor - 1720cc (84 x 77.6mm). Currently powering a Lotus Super Seven and will remain in the car until sale. Set up for pump gas at 10.25:1, it is in hot autocross or mild road race tune. Pro built head and valve train, but never dyno'd so horsepower/torque unknown. 500 road miles and 4 Auto-X outings. Steel crank and main caps. 12 bolt steel flywheel lightened to 11 lbs with 8-8.5" (Elan) clutch. Weber 45DCOE's with runners and pocket porting to match. Big valves (I & E) and competition springs. Original build date unknown. Main caps and cams stamped CS Engineering, a long since defunct(?) London based manufacturer. Rebuilt in current configuration in 2003.Engine
