Description:

Chassis #18 of 19 73S's manufactured by March in 1973.  Outstanding restored condition and in original 1973 configuration, no large wings or later aero.  Currently fitted with a very low time (~3hrs)Jennings 2L BDG of 285HP.  In storage for a number of years and the car has been completely gone through in preparation for this sale.  Top end of motor gone through (new cam and tappets installed), brake and clutch systems flushed and serviced.  Two brand new custom fuel cells.  All plastic/rubber hoses replaced, etc.  Tub is clean and excellent, never any damage as far as I know.  I had several period correct additions done while the car was in my possession.  A period correct adjustable spoiler, addition of a correct air intake scoop and moving the front transverse shock tower brace to the outside of the tub over the driver's footwell.  This is actually a factory 74S modification to give an adult sized driver more footroom.  Fabrication and installation done using original March factory drawings.  No known period history... I believe the car was restored in Connecticut in the early 2000's, sold to an owner in Texas around 2010.  I first saw the car at the Monterey Historics in 2010 and purchased by me in late 2010.  I did several test days at Willow Springs on a very iffy BDG and decided to have a brand new Jennings BDG built to endurance specs.  Ran one other weekend event and then had the car in storage until recently... Comes with a few spares... a new unfinished nose, several sets of wheels and a front A-arm jig.  Also the original fuel cells and a few other bits.  Please ask questions...
