Chassis 002 was run by Dick Barbour Racing and competed at circuits such as Le Mans, Jarama, Mosport and Laguna Seca by a range of drivers including Didier de Radigues and Eric Van De Poele. Subsequently it was owned by Fred Goddard Racing.
These cars originally ran at Le Mans with a Judd GV 675 V10 engine although this chassis also ran with a Nicholson McLaren engine so we understand either could be used in future competition.
The gearbox is the original Reynard item, and there are 2 complete gearboxes in the spares package. Gearbox internals are Gemini. The box in the car is fresh and there is a significant quantity of gearbox spares with the car. JP at Silverstone can rebuild these boxes if required. The change is pneumatic and is on (rhs) lever or paddles - both options work.
Spares include:
1 new monocoque, to be finally assembled (marked as chassis #12)
2 complete gearbox assemblies, one with input shaft
2 gearbox casings (unused)
4 spare tails/engine covers
Headlight boxes
Side panels
27 wheels some used.
Various vents and small panels
There is a vast and comprehensive collection of body moulds, jigs and tooling which would enable the buyer to produce most if not all the bodywork and chassis carbon components as can be seen in the photographs.
I have 98 photos of the spares package which can be emailed on request.
