1980 Porsche introduced the 924GT at the Frankfurt Motorshow IAA.
The idea was to provide a street legal sportscar with motorsport attributes like lower weight and more power in the tradition of cars like the Carrera RS.
400 units were made due to the FIA regulations for Groupe 4 GT cars.
In 1981 an evolution series of the 924GT was developed - the GTS – which aimed at the more ambitious driver who wanted a race/rally car based on a production model. The GTS was lighter, all comfort items removed, race seats from the 935 were installed and the engine power increased from 210 to 245HP. 59 GTS cars were made

It is number 48 of 59 cars build in 1981 and it has very unique history:
It is a one owner car which was ordered in April 1981 to be factory prepared as race car only. (COA and original documents are included)
The factory build this car to FIA Group 4 regulations which includes a full aluminium rollcage, fire system, drysump oil system etc. (all details available with the original factory invoices). The engine produced 275HP.
The original FIA logbook was issued at the factory and is still with the car.
The car has extensive race history which is documented in all details from day one.
It also comes with a huge service file listing every nut and bolt ever worked on during the history of the car.
